Established in the fall of 2000, Gothic Beauty features fashion, music interviews & reviews, entertainment & art, profiles, lifestyle articles and events. Independently published, Gothic Beauty has grown into America's most popular Gothic magazine.
Gothic Beauty was founded by Steven Holiday in early 2000 as an internet social group and picture site (Yahoo! club). Steven expanded Gothic Beauty into a new gothic fashion & music print magazine in the fall of 2000. Working with photographer Martin Lansky, Gothic Beauty #2 was distributed nationally by Tower Records & Hot Topic, and with Ruby’s help the magazine evolved with readers world-wide.
Despite its high profile, Gothic Beauty is a small magazine with only two full-time staff, Steven & Ruby.
