LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE
Filthy Notes for Frozen Hearts
Napalm Records

This release is Lucky Number 7 for Germany’s Lacrimas Profundere, a delicious serving of ‘Seventies influenced Gothic Rock that’s comparable to The 69 Eyes. “My Velvet Little Darkness” is dark and powerful, with guest female vox over Christopher’s luscious deep vocal chords. “Again It’s Over” was a great choice for the first single from the album as it’s very moving and catchy. “No Dear Hearts” is excellent! “Sad Theme For A Marriage” is mournful. “My Mescaline” is a mini-opera, very grandiose. “To Love Her On Knees” is brisk and ballsy. “Filthy Notes” is deep and melodic.
