Pulsating in a sort of half-light between trance and rave, this latest EP to come from Leaether Strip is not exactly what you’d expect, but not particularly disappointing, either. Referring to Walking On Volcanos as an EP doesn’t quite make sense – with seven new tracks and two remixes, it’s approximately an hour in length, which should be delightful to fans seeking more than a three song single. What I would recommend as a good midway between the starkly separated light and dark on this album is the eleven minute wonder of a track, “Death is easy Life is harder (Abused).”
